Gavin Gress' 4-under-par 67 set the frenetic pace after one round at the Zanesville District Golf Association Junior Amateur. Little brother lurks.
ZANESVILLE — If there were any doubts about the favorite at this year's Zanesville District Golf Association Junior Amateur prior to July 22, those thoughts were put to rest quickly.

Dolan, also a state qualifier in 2024, is at 75, followed in the top 10 by Chase McCauley (76), Caleb Kline (78), Chase Holtzapple (78), Cade Pickrell (79), Gator Nichols (80), Clark Frieschen (80), Hayden Hardcastle (82), Cale Preston (83) and Xander Smalley (83).
