Saturday Headlines: St. Johns Gameday

Mark Pope and his Kentucky Wildcats take on Rick Pitino and the St. John’s Red Storm in Catlanta!

Good morning, BBN!

Big one today.

The Kentucky Wildcats head to Atlanta (Catlanta) to take on the Rick Pitino-led St. John’s Red Storm. The game tips at 12:30 PM EST, and you can watch it on CBS.

Before the season started, this was, personally, the matchup I looked forward to most.

Yes, St. John’s is talented, but Mark Pope getting the chance to face his former coach is really exciting, and with how this season has turned out so far, it’s a great test to close out non-conference play.

Pope and the Cats got some fantastic news last night, as it was announced that Jayden Quaintance will be making his season debut today.

We’re not sure in what capacity, as I’m sure he’ll be on a minutes restriction.

But with how rough a season it’s been so far, it’s sent a jolt of excitement through BBN, and deservedly so.

It’s going to be a fun one today. Will the Cats gain some momentum or continue their struggles against top teams?
