So what about this weekend's meeting?
Despite a difficult start to their title defence, it is unlikely that Arne Slot's side will be anything but confident going into Saturday's meeting in north London.
In 66 matches between the two sides in the Premier League, Liverpool have won 34 and Spurs 15 with 17 draws.
In fact, they have beaten the Reds just once in their last 15 league meetings.
This match has also produced the most goals in Premier League history (206).
Another goalfest on Saturday?
