The referee halted Saturday's match after a pyrotechnic was thrown onto the pitch during the game.
Inverness Caledonian Thistle has criticised the behaviour of some of its fans after pyrotechnics were used during last Saturday's match against Hamilton.
The club said one device was thrown onto the pitch at the Caledonian Stadium, forcing the referee to halt the game briefly.
Caley Thistle has warned it could now face financial implications, as well as restrictions for supporters. It said some fans could face bans.
In a statement, the Highland club said it condemned all forms of unacceptable conduct, in particular the use of pyrotechnics.
It added that it would take severe action against those using pyrotechnics, including reporting incidents to police as well as potentially introducing bans.
Inverness said a group of fans also attempted to goad visiting supporters once they had boarded buses after the game.
Caley Thistle warned such incidents could lead to enhanced security measures at matches.
Last year, a probe was launched after a 13-year-old boy was injured when he was struck with a pyrotechnic at Inverness' stadium.
The use of pyrotechnics in Scottish football has risen in recent years, with action called for to tackle the issue.
