🏀BOYS BASKETBALL — Division I

Gianni Pagios, Lincoln boys basketball

Lincoln 64, Smithfield 49

The Lions' offense was in top form early on, scoring 48 in the first half to take a 24-point lead at halftime. Gianni Pagios scored a game-high 23 points to pace the Lions and Josh Bergeron added 9 points in the victory. For Smithfield, CJ Blakely scored a team-high 16 points and Luke Dwyer added 12 in the loss.

La Salle 52, North Kingstown 45

Nick Tarro led the Rams with a game-high 23 points while Dominic Iacobo finished with 12 in the victory. For the Skippers, Greg Kirwan scored 18 and Jake Perry had 8 points in the loss.

🏀BOYS BASKETBALL — Division II

Mt. Hope 74, South Kingstown 64

The Huskies capitalized on double-digit scoring by three players to withstand an offensive barrage from the Rebels' top scorer James Wilson, who netted 35 points in the loss. For Mt. Hope, Maleaq Roderick scored a team-best 26 points, John Adams added 18 and Jacob Tamke had 15 points. For South Kingstown, Jack Simonini had 9 points in the loss.

🏀BOYS BASKETBALL — Division III

Prout 64, Paul Cuffee 30

The Crusaders raced out to an early lead and never looked back, topping the Navigators in this Division III clash. Christian Pachis led Prout with 12 points, and Ryan Antonucci and Mike Brugnoli each added 9 in the victory. For Cuffee, Cesar Santos led all scorers with 18 points in the loss.

Exeter-West Greenwich 85, Blackstone Valley Prep 46

The Scarlet Knights were led by three players in double figures — Matt Chartier, who had 30 points; Brody Simoes, who scored 20; and Stanley Berek, who finished with 15 points as Exeter-West Greenwich nearly doubled up on the Bears.For Blackstone Valley Prep, Ny’zekial Johnson led the scoring with 12 points.

🏀GIRLS BASKETBALL — Division II

Johnston 43, Narragansett 35

The Panthers and Mariners traded leads throughout the game before Johnston pulled away for the victory. Johnston captains Alanna Colon and AnnabellaGesualdi led the team with 14 apiece. Gesualdi also had 16 rebounds, while Colon had 5 assists. MarissaMorsilli added 9 points off the bench. Olivia Iafrate played a key role on defense for the Panthers.

For the Mariners, Delaney Bonneau led the team with 25 points, while Taylor Sullivan contributed 9.
