NY Giants roster move: Another tight end added to practice squad

Giants sign former Miami Dolphin TE Tanner Conner

The New York Giants continued on Wednesday to stockpile tight ends on their practice squad, adding four-year veteran Tanner Conner. The 27-year-old was cut this week by the Miami Dolphins.

In recent weeks, the Giants have added three tight ends to their practice squad — Conner, Zach Davidson, and Maximilian Mang.

Conner played in 33 games over four seasons for Miami. This was actually his most productive season, as he caught nine passes for 91 yards in nine games. Conner, 6-foot-3, 237 pounds, has 12 career receptions.

The Giants have three tight ends — Theo Johnson, Daniel Bellinger, and Chris Manhertz — on their 53-man roster.
