Miami will be the place to be when Jake Paul attempts to survive against and take down Anthony Joshua on December 19.
The legitimate boxing fight at the Kaseya Center is another Netflix clash that is expected to break records, just like when Paul fought Mike Tyson. It’s a massive step-up in competition for Paul, while Joshua attempts to return to his winning ways.
The fight will be at heavyweight, a rarity for Paul. While this is standard for Joshua, there is one caveat: He must not weigh more than 245 pounds. The last time Joshua weighed 245 or less was when he faced Oleksandr Usyk in a rematch in 2022.
Joshua weighed over 250 pounds for his fight against Daniel Dubois a year ago. Can he easily make the mandatory weight for this fight? What weight will Paul make after he attempted to fight someone the size of Gervonta Davis?
What about the other fighters on the card? Competing at the last minute, will Caroline Dubois make weight for her lightweight title fight? Will Alycia Baumgardner and Leila Beaudoin make the super featherweight limit?
The Sporting News will provide the Tale of the Tape and weigh-in results for Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua.
