Whilst Paris Saint-Germain have arguably the best midfield trio in world football in the form of Vitinha, Joao Neves, and Fabián Ruiz, the reigning European champions may look to strengthen in this position in the coming months, according to a report from Bild

The German publication understands that Les Parisiens have taken a liking to SC Freiburg midfielder Johan Manzambi (20), who has been a revelation in the Bundesliga so far this season. The Switzerland international (eight caps, three goals) has four goals and four assists in all competitions for the German side this season.

His form has caught the attention of PSG, and whilst a departure for Manzambi is not touted this January, there could be bids come the summer, especially given that the midfielder is also the subject of interest from Napoli and Bayer Leverkusen. Should he leave Freiburg, it will likely be for a club record fee. The current record sale is Kevin Schade, who joined Brentford for €25m.
