According to a report from L’Équipe, newly-promoted Paris FC have joined Rennes in the race to sign Galatasaray and former Lens defender Przemyslaw Frankowski (30). After arriving at the Turkish club last winter on loan with a mandatory €10m buy clause, the Polish international is back on the market after struggling to make his mark at Galatasaray. Stade Rennais have reportedly made the Frankowski a priority target this window and are currently negotiating over a loan deal with an option to buy the player. However, the battle for Frankowski’s signature is not over: newly promoted Paris FC have also entered the race.
Looking for experienced players familiar with Ligue 1, the Parisian club sees Frankowski as a valuable addition to strengthen their squad ahead of their return to the top flight next season. Racing Club de Lens are also considering a possible return for the former Sang & Or defender.GFFN | George Boxall
