International Boxing Hall of Famer Mike Tyson makes a shocking admission that he has never heard of Golden State Warriors legend Klay Thompson.
Klay Thompson made the shocking decision to leave the Golden State Warriors last offseason, signing a three-year, $50 million contract with the Dallas Mavericks. As part of the "Splash Brothers" backcourt pairing with Stephen Curry, he helped lead the franchise to four championships in his 13 seasons with the organization -- two of which he missed entirely due to injury.
Thompson was named to five All-Star teams, two All-NBA teams and one All-Defensive team during his tenure with the franchise. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest shooters of all-time as his 2,697 three-pointers made rank fifth all-time -- trailing only Curry, James Harden, Ray Allen and Damian Lillard.
Curry is the only member of that group who has connected from distance at a higher percentage than Thompson, who has shot 41.1% from three-point range for his career. Despite all of his accomplishments, International Boxing Hall of Famer Mike Tyson has never heard of the Warriors legend.
He appeared on "The Big Podcast with Shaq", where Adam Lefkoe asked him about Thompson's relationship with rapper Megan Thee Stallion. Tyson revealed he didn't know the future Hall of Fame guard.
"Did you see the news about the new hot couple," TNT Sports' Adam Lefkoe asked. "It is Klay Thompson and Megan Thee Stallion."

"Who, who," Boxing legend Mike Tyson questioned. "Who's Klay Thompson, though?"
"He plays basketball," Lefkoe responded. "He was on the Warriors. He's one of the greatest shooters of all-time. He's now on the Dallas Mavericks and he's with Megan Thee Stallion."
Despite Lefkoe explaining who Thompson was, Tyson seemed genuinely confused. The four-time champion has been in headlines recently for the high profile nature of his relationship with the three-time Grammy Award winning rapper.
The couple went public with their relationship earlier this month, leading to plenty of online discussions. While his girlfriend has plenty of star power, it is surprising that Tyson had never heard of Thompson as he was a pivotal part of the greatest sports dynasty of the past decade.
