There's a new way to ski Whiteface Mountain, New York, next season.
The New York State Olympic Regional Development Authority (ORDA), which owns and operates Whiteface Mountain, announced on Monday, July 21, 2025 that the resort is joining The Mountain Collective Pass for Winter 25/26.
“We are excited to be included in the Mountain Collective Pass, which will bring new visitors to Whiteface Mountain through this global community of skiers and riders,” said Tait Wardlaw, the Olympic Authority’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “At the same time, the Mountain Collective partnership gives our SKI3 passholders an incredible opportunity to travel the continent and the world in pursuit of more unforgettable skiing and snowboarding experiences at any of their destinations around the world.”
Similar to The Indy Pass, Mountain Collective passholders get two days of skiing or riding at each resort included on the pass. There are now 27 resorts across five continents on Mountain Collective following the inclusion of Whiteface.
The SKI3 pass, the unlimited pass product that provides access to Gore, Whiteface, and Belleayre is also gaining a boost from the Mountain Collective partnership. Most importantly, SKI3 passholders will now get 50% off lift tickets at Mountain Collective resorts without blackout dates.
Notable Mountain Collective resorts include: Alta Ski Area, Aspen Snowmass, Jackson Hole, Revelstoke, and Niseko (Japan).

Whiteface is the largest ski resort by vertical on the east coast. At an astounding 3,430 feet of vertical, it rivals western mountains in terms of vertical descent.
Prior to its addition to Mountain Collective, East Coast passholders only had Sugarloaf and Sunday River in Maine to choose from. Adding a sizable resort like Whiteface is a huge win.
In other news, the world's best mountain bikers will flock to Lake Placid and Whiteface Mountain for the upcoming UCI Mountain Bike World Cup stop from October 3-5, 2025.
