Deion Sanders hasn't been able to be in Boulder for quite some time now. It seems as if a return is coming and it will be followed with long awaited answers.
Deion Sanders is entering his third year in Boulder, but this season will be different — he won’t have Shedeur Sanders or Travis Hunter on the roster. Sanders has been dealing with health issues for some time now, causing him to spend significant time away from Colorado throughout the summer.
Many have begun to question how committed Sanders will be this season, or whether his coaching tenure was simply a means to propel Shedeur and Shilo Sanders to the NFL.
“It’s going to get really difficult and Deion Sanders is going to have to make a real decision,” Quincy Avery said. “Was he doing this the whole time to prop his son up and help him become this top-tier quarterback, which he did, or does he want to do this because he really cares about the kids? He's never coached a team in which his son did not play for. This is brand new to him; so we get to see who he is as a person when he has to take on this team without his sons involved.”
Sanders was asked about his health during Big 12 Media Days, but he brushed off the question.
“I’m really not going to tell you much. I’m not going to talk about my health," he said. "I'm living good. I’m living lovely. Not a care in the world."
In a recent interview with Phillip Dukes on July 17, Deion Sanders Jr. gave an update on his father’s condition and their return to Boulder.

“We headed back to Colorado next week," Deion Jr. said. "It's a blessing. It's been a long journey, a long road and soon everybody will know the reason I haven't left this house this summer. ... Everyone will know in the next few weeks or so."
It certainly seems like Sanders is preparing to share the full story behind his health challenges once he's back in Colorado. At last, it appears he's ready to give some long-awaited answers.
