New York Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu has reclaimed her crown as the WNBA's best 3-point shooter.

Ionescu, who won the competition in 2023, beat 2024 winner Allisha Gray in the final round of the competition to secure her second 3-point crown.

While the Liberty guard didn't score as much as she did in 2023 — when she set an all-time NBA and WNBA record for the 3-Point Contest with 37 points — her latest performance en route to the trophy was equally impressive.

Ionescu scored 30 points, highlighted by her streak of 11 straight makes. The 27-year-old star also made both her special deep range Starry balls that counted for three points each. Gray finished with 22 in the final round.

As a result of her win, Ionescu took home the $60,000 prize money, courtesy of the WNBA's insurance partner Aflac. The CBA rule also states that the winner is entitled to $2,575 from the league, according to Indy Star.

Both Ionescu and Gray made 25 points each to move on to the second round. Los Angeles Sparks star Kelsey Plum had 22 points in the first round, while Indiana Fever fan-favorite Lexie Hull finished fourth with 20. Washington Mystics rookie Sonia Citron ended up last with 19.

The $62,575 prize money that Sabrina Ionescu won is certainly significant, especially considering that her average annual WNBA salary is $205,030.

Ionescu signed a two-year contract extension with the Liberty worth $410,060in 2023. For this 2025 season, she's earning $208,060.
