The Arizona Diamondbacks have the best hitter available and he has been lighting it up.
The Arizona Diamondbacks will be very busy with the trade deadline just 11 days away and they have a lot of talent available.
Lots of playoff contenders are in need of starting pitching; Zac Gallen and Merrill Kelly are rumored to have a lot of interest.
Shelby Miller should draw interest as well, with bullpen help also a big priority for teams seeking a playoff spot.
However, Arizona’s top trade chips are Josh Naylor and the scorching-hot Eugenio Suárez.
Although both are free agents after this season, Suárez is the more likely to get moved out of the two.
Suárez just had his second consecutive multi-homer game, bringing his season total to 35.

Suárez, 34, is having an excellent season in what will probably be his final in Arizona. Along with his 35 home runs, he has 85 RBI while slashing .257/.328/.601 in 98 games.
Suárez is in the final year of a seven-year, $66 million contract and will likely reel in a haul for the Diamondbacks.
Several teams are searching for a third base upgrade and will be calling about Suárez’s services.
The New York Yankees, Chicago Cubs, Seattle Mariners, Milwaukee Brewers and Detroit Tigers are expected to be in a bidding war for the slugger.
He isn’t the greatest defender, but his bat is easily the best available and he would provide a huge boost to any contender’s lineup.
