Yuki Kawamura reflects on Summer League after dominant finale.
The Chicago Bulls wrapped up their Summer League run on a high note Friday, earning a 105-92 win over the Utah Jazz to finish with a 3-2 record in Las Vegas.
Fan-favorite point guard Yuki Kawamura, who spent the 2024-25 season on a two-way contract with the Memphis Grizzlies, was a key contributor for the Bulls’ Summer League squad. The 24-year-old impressed in the club’s Summer League finale, posting 20 points (6-11 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 assists, four rebounds and two steals in 27 minutes off the bench.
Following the win, he took a moment to show love to both his teammates and fans.
“I love to play with my teammates, with my Chicago Bulls,” Kawamura said. “Such a great moment, man. I’m gonna miss Chicago — see you soon.”

Kawamura appeared in all five of Chicago’s Summer League games, averaging 10.2 points, 6.2 assists, 2.4 rebounds, 2.2 steals and 2.0 three-pointers per game, shooting 41.7 percent from beyond the arc.
The 5-foot-8 point guard is hoping to secure an NBA contract ahead of the 2025-26 season. Kawamura appeared in 22 regular-season games for Memphis last season but logged double-digit minutes just once. He was a featured player for the G League’s Memphis Hustle, averaging 12.7 points, 8.4 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals across 31.7 minutes per game in 31 outings.
Now, Kawamura will look to latch on with a new team, fresh off a productive Summer League stint. His flashy passing and ability to knock down three-pointers could be reason enough for a team to scoop him up — even if it’s just on another two-way pact.
