Aliyah Boston made headlines before All-Star Weekend.
Aliyah Boston Teams Up With Former MVP For Huge Announcement Before All-Star Weekend originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
The WNBA has shifted its focus to the All-Star Weekend, with Indiana Fever players Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston set to be in attendance.
It hasn’t been the smoothest first half of the season for Indiana, currently sitting at 12–11. Clark has only been healthy enough to appear in 13 games, and her status for the All-Star Game is now uncertain after she tweaked her groin.
Still, whether she suits up or not, the team she drafted will look to take down Team Collier. Boston is part of Clark’s squad, and on Thursday, it was announced that she’s teaming up with retired WNBA legend Candace Parker to launch a new podcast.
The podcast, named "Post Moves," will launch its first episode on July 30. It will cover behind-the-scenes moments from All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis and more.

Parker retired in 2024 after 16 seasons in the WNBA. The 39-year-old spent 13 seasons with the Los Angeles Sparks. She won the 2016 WNBA title and earned a Finals MVP with them. The 6-foot-4 forward also won two league MVPs with the Sparks, in 2008 and 2013.
She later played two seasons with the Chicago Sky and one with the Las Vegas Aces.
Now a TNT analyst, Parker has taken on a mentor-like role for the next generation of women’s basketball players, including Boston. It's no surprise the two are teaming up to start a podcast, as they not only share the same position and nearly identical height but were also both No. 1 overall picks.
Boston is in her third season in the WNBA and is already set to make her third WNBA All-Star Game appearance. The 2023 Rookie of the Year is averaging 15.6 points, 7.6 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game so far this season.
