Nick Saban's daughter posted despite all the rumors...
Nick Saban’s Daughter Makes New Post Amid Rumors of College Football Return originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
Nick Saban retired at the end of the 2023-24 college football season after 28 years as a head coach with seven national championships. He won one at LSU and six at Alabama, making him the all-time winningest coach and arguably the greatest in college football history.
The 73-year-old spent this past season taking in the sport from a new perspective as a host on ESPN’s "College GameDay." Fans enjoyed watching him every Saturday, and while it was a new experience for Saban, it also gave them valuable insight from a fresh angle.
On Monday, Saban’s former Alabama quarterback and current ESPN college football analyst Greg McElroy revealed he spoke to someone notable who is "pretty adamant that he thinks Nick Saban will be coaching again."
McElroy mentioned it while at SEC Media Days in Atlanta, and the rumor spread like wildfire across social media.
Whether there’s any truth to it or not, it hasn’t stopped Saban’s daughter, Kristen Saban Setas, from enjoying her summer on the East Coast. Kristen, a Birmingham, Alabama native, took to social media to share a post of her own from Newport, Rhode Island.
"East Coast Summer 🦀🐚," she said.
Kristen, 34, is one of Saban’s two children and graduated from the University of Alabama in 2013. She previously worked on her father’s staff in the football program’s recruiting department and as an event planner.
While her post has nothing to do with the rumors, it’s clear the Saban family is carrying on with life as usual.
