Bild reports that Bayern Munich will withhold making a third bid for Nick Woltemade as they wish to meet with VfB Stuttgart beforehand.

Bayern will not submit a third bid for Woltemade as they want to have a sit-down meeting to discuss a transfer fee before submitting a new offer. However, Stuttgart continue to refuse.

The Bundesliga champions do not want to be pushed around by Stuttgart and see their recently rejected off of a total of €55m as a good point to for the two clubs to meet. VfB on the other hand will only consider meeting with Bayern if they recieve an offer of €65m.

This hardline approach from Stuttgart is considered incomprehensible by Bayern, as well as by Woltemade’s agent, who recently criticised the DFB-Pokal winners for their approach

As needs to be said time and time again, Stuttgart have no need to sell the 23-year-old as he has a contract until 2028. While the price for Hugo Ekitiké continues to rise, the Swabians have the right to demand the same for Woltemade, as they have both had only one good season at their respective clubs.
