Aaron Judge is on another planet.
The New York Yankees' slugger's dominance can be explained in so many ways.
But one that stands out after Friday night, when every team played its first game since the All-Star break, is in the MLB leaderboard for on-base-plus-slugging.
Judge's OPS on the season is 1.188, an exceptional number.
Second-place Cal Raleigh is at 1.005. The Mariners catcher has been superb, but he's still way behind Judge here.
How far behind?
Raleigh's gap to Judge is the same as the gap from Raleigh to 40th-place Jacob Wilson, the Athletics' rookie shortstop, at .822.

That seems impossible, but Judge truly is just that much better than everyone else.
If he keeps this up, it'll go down as one of the best hitting seasons in baseball history.
