After starring at Newark, Mitch Bolte immediately became one of the top college golfers in Division III.

Mitch Bolte delivered one of the best men's golf debut seasons in the country last spring.

Bolte, a Newark graduate, was named to the NCAA Division III All-Freshman Team by the Golf Coaches Association of America following his first season at Wittenberg University.

Bolte previously was named North Coast Athletic Conference Newcomer of the Year after placing fifth in the NCAC championships, leading the Tigers to the championship.
