Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is set to return to European football after spending last season with Al-Qadisiyah in the Saudi Pro League.
The former Arsenal man moved to Saudi Arabia after a prolific 2023/24 campaign with Marseille in which he scored 29 goals and assisted 11 more in 59 games for the Ligue 1 side.
Last season, the 36-year-old was once again among the goals, scoring 21 in 36 games for Al-Qadisiyah.
Aubameyang had previously signed a two-year deal with the Dammam-based club but has now terminated his agreement after just one season leaving him free to sign for any club.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, a return to Marseille is the most likely outcome with the two sides in talks over a potential two-year deal.
