Manchester United seem likely to lower Jadon Sancho’s asking price as Juventus have already reached an agreement with the English winger.
Manchester United’s initial €25m asking price for Sancho is likely to be lowered to less than €20m, according to Italian sources.
Man United ready to lower Sancho asking price
Football Italia reported earlier this week that the ex-Chelsea winger was eager to wait for an agreement between Manchester United and Juventus, having prioritised a move to the Allianz Stadium.
Tuttosport reported on Thursday morning that Sancho’s agent has arrived in Turin to meet with the Bianconeri directors, with Manchester United ready to accept Juventus’ latest €17m offer (£15m), which Football Italia first reported on Tuesday.
Our transfer expert, Alfredo Pedullà, also reports that the latest Juventus bid could be enough to convince Manchester United, as the Red Devils are eager to resolve the situation quickly and sell Sancho.
Pedullà latest updates on Sancho
“Negotiations are progressing well. The offer might already be enough. Sancho has once again reiterated his desire to wait for Juventus and has urged them to speed things up,” Pedullà wrote in his latest column for Caught Offside.
“Manchester United are cooperating and want to resolve the situation. They’ve already backed away from the original €25m evaluation. Of course, it’s not all offer, so caution is still needed but Juventus are picking up pace, heading straight toward Sancho.”
