Foward Plea leave Gladbach and joins Dutch champions PSV

Forward Alassane Plea is leaving Borussia Mönchengladbach to join Dutch champions PSV, the Bundesliga club said in a statement on Thursday. The player signed a contract with PSV until June 2028 after spending seven years at Gladbach.

Forward Alassane Plea is leaving Borussia Mönchengladbach to join Dutch champions PSV, the Bundesliga club said in a statement on Thursday.

The player signed a contract with PSV until June 2028 after spending seven years at Gladbach.

"Alassane approached us with the desire to take on a new sporting challenge and secure another long-term contract," Gladbach managing director for sport Roland Virkus said.

"We respected that wish and would like to thank Lasso for seven years at Borussia, marked by outstanding performances and many important goals," Virkus added.

According to media reports, PSV paid around €4 million ($4.64 million) to sign Plea and he already joined a training session this week.

"I look back with gratitude on seven wonderful years at this amazing club that I’ve grown to love," Plea said.
