Roma have submitted a new bid for Palmeiras central midfielder Richard Rios, as interest heats up in the race for the highly-rated 25-year-old.
According to what has been reported by SkySport this evening, Roma have made another offer for the Colombian – worth around €30 million inclusive of bonuses.
Roma reportedly hope for a prompt response as the Giallorossi come closer to matching Palmeiras’ demands for the former Flamengo and Guarani man.

Roma are not the only club keen on signing the Colombian international, with Benfica and a number of Premier League clubs also linked strongly with the Palmeiras star. However, Sky are reporting that an official offer is missing from the other interested parties and the Roman club will be hoping this gives them the advantage in the race.
New head coach Gian Piero Gasperini is reportedly a big fan of the 25-year-old and the club are eager to add him to their ranks ahead of the new Serie A season.
