Caitlin Clark continues to struggle.
Concerning Caitlin Clark Trend Keeps Getting Worse originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
Although Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark is known for her long-range and sharpshooting abilities, she has not been nearly as efficient this season.
Whether it's due to how defenses are guarding her this season, taking away her left side, which she loves to use, or the fact that she has been dealing with nagging injuries, she is struggling. On the year, she is making just 36.7% of her shots from the floor, and 27.9% from deep.
While fans may not be paying attention to how bad her struggles from deep have been, following the Fever's 85-77 win on the road against the Connecticut Sun, Yahoo Sports shared a graphic that emphasizes how brutal her shooting has been when not playing at the Fever's Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

As seen in the graphic, Clark has made 27 of her 29 threes while playing at home, shooting at a 39% clip. However, in games on the road, she has made just two threes on 25 attempts, coming in at an abysmal 8%.
While it's unclear what exactly could lead to this kind of drop-off, Clark was still able to find ways to make an impact in Tuesday's win. She finished the game with 14 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.
Aside from her shooting woes in the win, Fever coach Stephanie White told
Alexa Philippou of ESPN reported that Clark also appeared to tweak her groin again.
White expressed that Clark "felt a little something in her groin," and is set to be evaluated this week. Clark exited the game with 39.3 seconds remaining in the game, and could be seen grabbing her leg in pain.

With the Fever playing against the New York Liberty on Wednesday and the WNBA All-Star Game taking place on Saturday, the team faces a tough decision regarding Clark. The obvious solution is to rest her until she is healthy, but it certainly isn't the popular one.
