Manchester United are mulling over a move to sign Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea.
Jackson’s future at Chelsea is in doubt following the club’s summer recruitment. Chelsea have brought in Liam Delap and Joao Pedro as centre-forward options, with the latter scoring three times in just two starting appearances at the FIFA Club World Cup.
Pedro’s performances have led to suggestions that Jackson could leave, with AC Milan and Premier League teams monitoring his situation.
Nicolas Jackson has accumulated 31.0 non-penalty expected goals over the last two Premier League seasons.

Manchester United are one side considering a formal bid, as Ruben Amorim seeks to bring in an established forward.
Amorim has been frustrated with United’s lack of progress in the transfer market, having seen moves for top targets Victor Osimhen and Viktor Gyokeres blocked. The club’s board had been keen to sign Delap, but the 22-year-old decided on a move to Chelsea from Ipswich Town.
Jackson’s potential availability and attributes have now put him on Manchester United’s radar, according to The Times.
United’s recruitment has focused on Premier League proven talent this summer. Matheus Cunha has arrived from Wolves, while talks are ongoing to sign Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford. He is also seen as a good physical fit, as Amorim looks to improve the athletic power of his team.
The 24-year-old has scored 30 goals in 81 games for Chelsea since arriving from Villarreal for a fee of £32m in 2023.
