Jose Mourinho has identified the Bayern Munich forward as a perfect fit for Fenerbahce
Turkish League teams have been extremely active in the summer transfer window as teams like Galatasaray, Fenerbahce and Besiktas are making some smart moves in the market.
Despite being one of the best teams in Turkey, Fenerbahce have struggled to win the league title, and that is something that manager Jose Mourinho is keen to change.
Mourinho is building a strong team that can dethrone Galatasaray and also end Fenerbahce's
As per Turkish outlet A Spor, the Portuguese manager has urged Fenerbahce to push for Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman this summer.
This is not the first time Coman has attracted interest from Turkey, as Galatasaray were also monitoring his situation a few weeks ago.
However, a lot has changed at Bayern Munich in the last few weeks, starting with Jamal Musiala’s horrific injury in the Club World Cup quarterfinal and also Bayern’s inability to convince players to move to Bavaria.

All these incidents have forced the German champions to change their stance on Coman.
At the start of the window, Bayern were keen on selling the Frenchman, but now they want him to continue, considering the lack of options on the left flank.
With Leroy Sane moving to Galatasaray and the club deciding to end its association with Thomas Muller, the Bavarians are extremely shorthanded on the left flank.
Therefore, they can’t afford to lose out on Coman without making a couple of signings in attack this summer.
What would Coman bring to the Fenerbahce squad?
After a loan stint in Bavaria, Coman moved to Bayern from Juventus permanently in 2017 and gradually made a name for himself in Germany.
The France international has featured in 339 games until now, scoring 72 goals and providing 71 assists in this time period.
Coman scored the winning goal in the final against PSG in Bayern’s Champions League triumph in the 2019/20 season.
Just like the highs, the 29-year-old has had his fair share of lows with incessant injury problems.
However, it is his fighting spirit that keeps him going as he scored a couple of goals and provided a couple of assists in Bayern’s Club World Cup campaign.
As per FBref, Coman averaged 5.69 shot-creating actions, 2.53 success take-ons and 4.55 progressive carries per 90 minutes last season.
Mourinho has assessed his abilities and feels he could be the ideal player for Fenerbahce, considering they need options on the left flank.
They have only signed Jhon Duran on loan from Al Nassr and made Sofyan Amrabat's loan tenure permanent in this transfer window
It will be interesting to see if Mourinho can convince Coman to make the move to Turkey amid Bayern Munich's attacking conundrum.
