West Ham have completed the signing of Slavia Prague defender El Hadji Malick Diouf for an initial £19m.
The 20-year-old is the Irons' first signing of a summer that has already seen significant departures, notably Mohammed Kudus to Tottenham, as well as Lukasz Fabianski, Vladimir Coufal, Aaron Cresswell and Danny Ings on free transfers.
The Senegalese international - who played in the recent win over England - leaves the Czechia capital after a successful 18-month spell at the club, whom he helped to the league title last season.
Diouf, who is capable of playing both left-back and left wing-back, joins a West Ham side that had a torrid season defensively under both Julen Lopetegui and current manager Graham Potter. No non-relegated club had a worse goal difference.
He becomes the eight player from Senegal to play for the London club, following in the footsteps of the likes of Demba Ba and Cheikhou Kouyaté.
