Aston Villa are among the clubs keeping tabs on Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho, per the Daily Mail.
The Villains are looking to add firepower to their squad and have eyes on the Argentine international, who is surplus to requirements at United.
Despite his poor decision-making in the final third, Garnacho still delivered 11 goals and 10 assists in 58 appearances (several outings came from the bench) this season.
Still, Man United boss Ruben Amorim does not trust the 21-year-old and has placed him on the chopping block. Villa are sniffing around the goods.
Villa took his United teammate Marcus Rashford on loan during the second half of the season, and he proved an excellent addition.
Unfortunately, Villa could not sign him permanently and have turned to Garnacho to fill the hole in the attack.
The young forward has ample room to develop into a terrifying Premier League winger under the tutelage of Villa boss Unai Emery.
The Man Utd star is crying out for a manager who believes in him enough to let him get the mistakes out of his system and learn.
His end-product and all-around game should improve immensely.
Garnacho would be a stellar pick-up for Villa, but it remains to be seen if anything materialises. Man Utd will demand big money to let him go. It could prove a stumbling block.
Also, teams like Chelsea and Napoli are in the race for his signature. They could beat Villa to the punch if the transfer team does not move quickly enough.
Meanwhile, Villa have added goalkeeper Marco Bizot and Zepiqueno Redmond to the ranks this summer. The club is also looking at signing 18-year-old Toulouse defender Jaydee Canvot.
There have also been worrying links to profligate Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson, but his signing will depend on what happens with club talisman Ollie Watkins.
