The MLB kicked off the 2025 MLB All-Star Game in electrifying fashion on Tuesday night. Aside from the highly anticipated showdown between the American League and National League teams β€” featuring the game's top stars such as Shohei Ohtani, Aaron Judge, Paul Skenes, Tarik Skubal and Vladimir Guerrero Jr., among many others β€” the performances before the big game also drew plenty of attention.

Kane Brown got things going with a nod to the host state Georgia, as he performed the song "Georgia On My Mind" ahead of the festivities. After that, it didn't take long for the Zac Brown Band to break the internet with its national anthem performance.

Even the MLB was in awe of the band's rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner."

"Zac Brown Band with an incredible National Anthem performance before the 2025 All-Star Game," the MLB wrote, along with a video of the group's performance.

"ZBB showing out," a commenter wrote. Another one said, "Big performance."

"Great Job Zach Brown, thanks for honoring America!" a fan added.

A supporter remarked, "That was such a moving performance! Zac Brown Band really knows how to set the mood for a big game."

"Straight forward, no fancy crap necessary, and they nailed it," a social media user stated.

A sixth viewer remarked, "That performance was absolutely electrifying! They really know how to captivate an audience."

For those not in the know, the Zac Brown Band is a country music band based in Atlanta, Georgia. With that said, the MLB's decision to have the group as the national anthem performers couldn't have been more fitting.
