On Tuesday, the Chicago Bulls dropped their preseason schedule ahead of the 2025–26 NBA season. As usual, all eyes will be on the Bulls’ newcomers, primarily lottery pick Noa Essengue. Let’s take a look at the schedule.

Essengue will likely see some serious run in the Bulls’ first two games against the Cleveland Cavaliers. In addition to a potential clash with Donovan Mitchell, Evan Mobley, and Jarrett Allen for as long as they’re in the game, the French teenager will also likely be caught in the midst of the attention that comes from Lonzo Ball and Isaac Okoro’s first game against their old teams.

Again, this is preseason, so minutes and rotations could be tough to predict, but the focus will be high because of familiarity and the thirst for Bulls basketball after a long offseason.

Essengue improved dramatically in his second Summer League game after a shaky outing in his first. After struggling to an inefficient 5-point, 7-rebound performance in his Summer League debut, Essengue has gotten noticeably better in each of the following two games.

In his second, Essengue registered a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, displaying the versatility that convinced the Bulls to draft him with the 12th pick.

In his third game against the Pacers, Essengue had a breakout performance with 21 points, 3 rebounds, and an assist. He also drained three of eight shots from three. He’s only 18, but the Bulls have a gem if they develop him properly.

Patience will be the key for the front office and fanbase.
