"The success that USC has had on the recruiting trail this cycle has caught the attention of Quentin Hale, the elite wide receiver from Cathedral High near downtown Los Angeles," Angulo begins. "Hale said that he has particularly been impressed with the additions of a few other pass catchers like Mark Bowman and Ethan Feaster, and that featuring in a promising Trojans offense alongside those players has certainly crossed his mind."

Hale would enter an offense that's proven to shred defenses before. Lincoln Riley established himself as a distinguished offensive mind throughout his coaching career. His Air Raid attack already produced 2022 Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams at USC. While also helped elevate the 2023 NFL Draft stock for wideout Jordan Addison -- who landed in the first round.

USC already represents one of the 17 current offers for Hale. The Trojans, however, faces early competition for Hale.

"Miami, Ohio State, Oregon and Texas are among other programs that Hale intends to check out in person this season," Angulo said.

Hale stands at 6-foot-3, 175-pounds. He's described as "extremely fluid and smooth in how he moves" by 247Sports national recruiting analyst Greg Biggins. Hale is fresh off catching 63 passes for 995 yards and scoring 14 touchdowns.
