Roma is heavily focused on strengthening their midfield and, alongside negotiations for Richard Rios, is intensifying negotiations for Lens midfielder Neil El Aynaoui.
As reported by Matteo Moretto, the Giallorossi have already reached a preliminary agreement with the Moroccan player, who is expected to sign a contract until June 30, 2030.
The deal with Lens is at an advanced stage.
The gap between the two clubs has been significantly narrowed thanks to a new offer from Roma, which offered €22 million plus €3 million in transfer bonuses.
Although a financial agreement now appears close, the deal is not yet finalized, as the Giallorossi have decided not to include a percentage of the future resale price, a condition initially requested by Lens.
