A legend from the Phoenix Suns received a strong ranking on the NBA's all-time list despite his "incomplete resume."

The Phoenix Suns entered the NBA offseason looking to make some major changes to their roster and they have done just that by moving on from Kevin Durant and adding three young players in the 2025 NBA Draft.

With these moves, the Suns are clearly retooling their roster around Devin Booker as they try to become title contenders once again with one of their franchise legends leading the way.

On Monday, another Suns legend was in the news as Bleacher Report’s NBA staff released their all-time rankings for the top 100 players in league history, a list that included Phoenix legend Charles Barkley.

Bleacher Report ranked Barkley No. 25 on their all-time list despite him finishing his career without a championship.

“Charles Barkley’s resume feels incomplete without a title. Over time, it feels like the absence of one has eroded his standing in these all-time discussions,” Bleacher Report’s NBA staff wrote. “And yet, you don’t win an MVP award during Michael Jordan’s prime (1992-93) by some fluke. Barkley was a superstar, with one of the most well-rounded games to ever grace the hardwood.”

While Barkley never won a championship, he was one of the best players during his era and has gone into the history books as one of the greatest big men in league history.

During his 16 seasons in the NBA, Barkley was a one-time MVP, 11-time All-Star and 11-time All-NBA selection.

Of course, most of Barkley’s success came during his eight seasons with the Philadelphia 76ers but he also played a key role in Phoenix during his four seasons with the team as he helped them reach the NBA Finals once.

While Barkley had a successful NBA career, his legacy will always be hurt due to the fact that he never won a title but there is no doubt that the Hall of Famer was one of the greatest players during his generation and in NBA history.
