Shaquille O'Neal is the highest former Suns player on NBA Top 100 all-time list at 6th.

Charles Barkley, Steve Nash, Shaquille O'Neal and Kevin Durant are the top notable former Phoenix Suns players on Bleacher Report's Top 100 players of all-time.

First off, top five all-time: Michael Jordan (1st), LeBron James (2nd), Kareem Abdul Jabbar (3rd), Magic Johnson (4th) and Bill Russell (5th).

6th: Shaquille O'Neal

O'Neal won four NBA titles before joining the Suns in a trade in 2008. O'Neal only played one full season with the Suns (2008-09), making the All-Star game for the final time in his career. He won co-MVP with former Los Angeles Lakers teammate Kobe Bryant.

Who is right behind O'Neal? Tim Duncan (7th). Right ahead? Russell (5th).

13th: Kevin Durant

The Suns acquired the two-time finals MVP before the 2023 trade deadline. He became the eighth player in NBA history to score 30,000 during his second full season with the Suns, but the team missed the 2025 playoffs and Durant was traded this offseason to Houston.

Who is right ahead of Durant? Hakeem Olajuwon (12th). Right behind? Oscar Robertson (14th)

25th: Charles Barkley

The Suns made it to the 1993 NBA Finals in Barkley's first season with the franchise. He won NBA MVP that year. Barkley played four seasons in Phoenix (1992-96).

Who is right ahead of Barkley? Giannis Antetokounmpo (24th). Right behind? Elgin Baylor (26th).

30th: Chris Paul

The Suns reached the 2021 NBA Finals in Paul's first season with the team and won a franchise-record 64 games in the second season. Played three seasons in Phoenix.

Who is right ahead of Paul? John Stockton (29th). Right behind? John Havlicek (31st).

35th: Steve Nash

The Hall of Famer won his back-to-back MVPs (2005, 2006) with the Suns. He had two stints in Phoenix, playing a total of 10 seasons.

Who is right ahead of Nash? James Harden (34th). Right behind? Allen Iverson (36th).

He played five seasons (200-12) in Phoenix on the backend of his Hall of Fame career.
