The New York Jets have locked down wide receiver Garrett Wilson.

The Jets reached a four-year, $130 million contract extension with Wilson on Monday afternoon, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Wilson is now the first player from the Jets' 2022 draft class to receive a contract extension.

Wilson will average over $31 million a season, and $90 million of his new deal is guaranteed. He is now the first wide receiver in league history to average more than $31 million per season after his first three seasons.

Wilson, who the Jets took with the No. 10 overall pick in 2022 out of Ohio State, has recorded at least 1,000 receiving yards a season throughout his career. He had 1,104 receiving yards and seven touchdowns on 101 catches last season, all of which were career-highs.
