Barcelona have identified Bayern Munich star as an alternative signing if they miss out on Marcus Rashford.
Barcelona are in the hunt to sign a new winger, and their search has intensified after Nico Williams decided to ditch them and signed a new contract with Athletic Bilbao.
The Catalans have explored the possibility of signing Liverpool's Luis Diaz, who is someone that Barcelona sporting director Deco prefers.
On the other hand, Man United star Marcus Rashford is another option for Hansi Flick. The Englishman is a more viable choice because of his low asking fee of £40m ($54m).
However, several reports suggest that due to Barcelona's financial constraints, the Catalans could opt for an economical option in Bayern's Bryan Zaragoza, as per El Chiringuito.
Even Barcelona are exploring a loan move for Rashford, but if that deal somehow fails, they will look towards Zaragoza.
The Spanish winger has struggled to cement his place in the Bayern Munich squad, and therefore, he was loaned out to Osasuna last season.

His performances in the La Liga didn't go unnoticed as he scored a crucial goal in Osasuna's 4-2 thrashing against Barcelona last season in September.
Which other clubs are interested in Zaragoza?
Zaragoza joined Bayern Munich in 2023, and while he was signed permanently and set to join the club the following summer, the Bavarians loaned him in January to fill the void left by injured Kingsley Coman.
Barcelona have been monitoring Bryan Zaragoza's situation with interest for some time. The Spaniard is one of several options Barça are considering for the left wing alongside the likes of Díaz and Rashford. Zaragoza would be a cheaper alternative. However, he failed to cement his place in the Bayern squad and was soon loaned out to Osasuna.
He featured in 27 La Liga outings for Osasuna and netted a solitary goal along with six assists. While he didn't deliver phenomenal performances, he was pretty decent.
Therefore, clubs like Celta Vigo, Real Betis and Greek outfit Olympiacos have shown interest in the Spanish winger.
Bayern were even in talks with Celta Vigo as they proposed a deal to sign him on €2 million with a mandatory purchase clause of around €12-15m ($14-17m).
But the Bavarians are yet to reach a deal with Vigo, whereas Betis are looking to sign Zaragoza as a replacement for Abde Ezzalouli, who is supposed to leave this summer.
The German champions are open to selling him as they look to free up funds to facilitate their summer signings.
