French sources: Liverpool now surprise club who are showing interest in Chelsea player

According to sources in France, Liverpool have become the surprise latest club interested in signing one Chelsea player.

The Blues are pretty active in the transfer market this summer and will surely be looking to make some player sales as well. So you’d expect that Christopher Nkunku would be available still even though he has had a bit more of a role to play in the Club World Cup.

Chelsea beat PSG 3-0 last night to win the competition, but Nkunku did not start the game and only came off the bench. I do expect him to be available this summer.

Two lovely Cole Palmer goals and then a perfect finish from Joao Pedro was enough to see Chelsea thrash PSG on Sunday night to become Champions of the World!

Nkunku will still go

He has continued to be linked with many clubs such as Bayern Munich and Manchester United, and you just know that if a decent offers arrives then the club will sell him.

He’s not been great since he arrived at Chelsea with a lot of hype behind him, but there’s no doubt that he is decent player and maybe he ends up at Liverpool instead!?

Liverpool keen on Nkunku

According to French outlet L’Equipe today, Liverpool are monitoring the situation of Christopher Nkunku, and Chelsea would want around £35m to sell the forward.

I’d say that would be a very reasonable fee if Chelsea asked that for him and most certainly a bit of a bsrgain for any potential buying club. Nkunku also now comes with Premier League experience which is vital right now.
