The Washington Mystics had a 74-69 win over the Seattle Storm on Sunday. Thanks to veteran guard Brittney Sykes, the Mystics added another win to their record. Sykes had 19 points on 53.8% shooting from the field. She added four rebounds, four assists and a steal to help the team win.

Her rookie teammate, Kiki Iriafen, had another double-double to end the game. She had 10 points and 10 rebounds on 55.6% shooting. She was the only Washington player to have a double-double in the game. Because of this, she made history against the Storm.

The WNBA recognized the feat that Iriafen achieved on Sunday.

With her seventh double-double of the 2025 WNBA season, Iriafen is now the franchise leader for the most double-doubles for a rookie in a season. The former USC star surpassed Chamique Holdsclaw and took over the top spot.

Throughout the season, Iriafen has been one of the most impressive players for the Mystics. She's dominated the interior with her inside scoring and intense rebounding.

Overall, Iriafen is fourth in rebounds per game with 8.5. She trails Azura Stevens, who's at the third spot with 8.7 per game. Three-time MVP A'ja Wilson is in the second spot with 9.1 rebounds. The top spot belongs to last year's Rookie of the Year runner-up, Angel Reese, with 12.8.
