The 2025 MLB Draft is underway and multiple Florida State baseball players are expected to hear their name called, including Jamie Arnold.
It's time for the 2025 MLB Draft in Atlanta, and it could be a busy few days for Florida State baseball stars.
Superstar pitcher Jamie Arnold and Dick Howser Trophy winner Alex Lodise are the first two Seminoles expected to be off the board, with Arnold likely to land in the top 10, possibly top 5.
There are multiple FSU players outside of Arnold and Lodise who could hear their name called as well.
The first round begins at 6 p.m. on July 13 in Atlanta, and the draft will conclude on July 14, before the start of the MLB Home Run Derby, starting at 11:30 a.m.

The first day of the 2025 MLB Draft will be broadcast on ESPN, beginning at 6 p.m. on July 13. The second day will be streamed on MLB.com, beginning at 11:30 a.m. on July 14.

Can Jamie Arnold and Alex Lodise both be first-round picks?
The Seminoles are guaranteed to hear one name called in the first round with Arnold, and he could be joined by Lodise, who is projected as a late first-round or early second-round pick.
If both are selected in the first round, it would be the fifth time in program history that two Seminoles were drafted in the opening round. They would join Cam Smith and James Tibbs III, who were selected back-to-back in the 2024 MLB Draft, as the most recent players to do it for the Seminoles.
