The Chicago Cubs have a one game lead over the Milwaukee Brewers going into the trade deadline. They could be aggressive to try and pull away in the National League Central.

The Cubs have a deep farm system and may feel the need to capitalize on this season, knowing they could lose Kyle Tucker in free agency. They have holes in the starting rotation and may need to part with an elite prospect in order to land an elite starter. Their top prospect, Owen Caissie, could be dealt at the trade deadline, according to USA Today's Bob Nightengale.

Caissie is the No. 43 overall prospect in baseball. The Cubs would have to be getting a controllable, star player if they are going to part ways with him. Caissie spoke on his name being floated in trade rumors.

"I don’t have Twitter, so I don’t check that stuff at all," Caissie said, per Nightengale. "I never really paid attention to that stuff, and I’m not going to start now. Playing GM isn’t a good idea because you never know what’s going to happen.

"I’m just going to show up at the ballpark every day with a smile on my face and just try to be the best I can be."

Caissie has a .278/.386/.575 slash line in Triple-A this season. Trading him would be a huge risk if the team loses Tucker on the Open Market. Caissie would be the obvious replacement in the outfield if Tucker leaves.
