It's safe to say she was hyped.
Angel Reese Had to Calm Herself Down After Latest Exciting Update originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
There’s a lot to smile about for Angel Reese right now. On Saturday, she helped lead the Chicago Sky to a surprise win against the league-best Minnesota Lynx, 87-81, with the two-time All-Star putting up another monster 19-point, 11-rebound double-double, with four assists and two steals.
That’s now two straight wins for Chicago after their 87-76 win over Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings on Wednesday. The Sky improved to 7-13 after Saturday’s big victory, and are currently just 3.0 games outside the playoff picture in the WNBA.
Reese followed up her big day on the court with an exciting update for her fans on Saturday night. This came in the form of her signature shoe with Reebok, which Reese proudly flexed via her Instagram stories. In her post, the 23-year-old also revealed that there will be multiple colorways available once the Reebok Angel Reese 1 finally hits shelves.
Reese was so pumped up that she had to calm herself down as she shared the update.
“DIAMOND DUST. SO PERFECT,” she wrote.
“my shoes so fire i’m obsessed 😩 like these aren’t even out yet & i can’t wait until you guys see the rest of the colors 😭 let me calm down.”

At this point, however, Reebok has yet to release the details on the launch date of the Angel Reese 1. There’s already a lot of hype surrounding the pair, though, and Reese has made it abundantly clear that she, too, can’t wait for it to drop.
