Lord previously coached in the Quebec Maritime Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) with the Halifax Mooseheads, and also spent time in the ECHL with the Reign’s affiliate, the Greenville Swamp Rabbits.
Prior to joining the Swamp Rabbits, Lord was part of the Cardiff Devils of the Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL) for six seasons between 2014 and 2020. During that time, he spent four years as a player/coach. He retired from playing in 2017/18, taking on a full-time coaching career.
