When you’re one of the biggest athletes on the planet with all the fame, fortune and spotlight that come with it, it’s easy to get pulled into life’s little distractions. LeBron James is no exception.
And now, Skip Bayless, never one to hold back his opinions, has sent out a pretty serious warning for LeBron. He’s urging him to pump the brakes on a new interest that, according to Skip, could end up taking control if he’s not careful. Let’s just say, this isn’t your usual on-court critique.
Bayless is never one to mince his words. He took to X to issue a stern warning to the 40-year-old saying, “I'm warning you, LeBron, you should stop playing golf now while you have a chance before it gets a hold of you and won't let you go.”

While people around the NBA are keeping tabs on what LeBron James is planning next, the Lakers star is living his best off-season life, and he’s got a new hobby: golf. On July 4, LeBron shared some clips of himself hitting the course on Instagram, and let’s just say, that swing still needs a bit of work.
For a while, it looked like LeBron was one of the few NBA stars who’d avoided catching the golf bug, but hey, it was bound to happen sooner or later. Even Steph Curry gave him a warm welcome to the golf club.
In his post, LeBron even admitted he’s got a long way to go when it comes to his golf game. So now everyone’s wondering will he stick with it and go all in like Steph Curry, Michael Jordan and the rest of those NBA golf junkies? Or will he just mess around with it for a bit and then move on to the next thing? Guess we’ll have to wait and see.
