One of earliest 'Nova Knicks is leaving NBA to sign contract in Italy

Ryan Arcidiacono is moving on.

Once a 'Nova Knick, always a 'Nova Knick.

Not sure if that's really a phrase for the New York Knicks' players from Villanova, but maybe it should be.

Regardless, one of the early parts of the 'Nova Knicks is leaving the NBA.

Ryan Arcidiacono is signing a contract in Italy with Trapani Shark, a team in Sicily, according to Hoops Rumors.

Arcidiacono played for the Knicks for three seasons in a total of 41 NBA games.

Most of Arcidiacono's time was spent with the Bulls. He played 207 games in Chicago, including 36 starts, and averaged 4.8 points and 2.2 assists per game.

Arcidiacono also appeared in nine games for the Portland Trail Blazers.

This past season, Arcidiacono suited up exclusively in the G League for the Windy City Bulls.

Arcidiacono has been a really solid G League player in his career, with averages of 9.7 points, 5.6 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game. He also shoots 39% from 3-point range in the G League.

Now, he'll try to replicate those numbers on his first journey overseas. If he wants to keep up with his Villanova teammates still on the Knicks, he'll have to tune into games in the wee hours of the morning.
