The Bucks would love the former Warriors champion.
The Golden State Warriors did what they had to do with the trade deadline a year ago, following their involvement in the Jimmy Butler sweepstakes for many months.
Butler, who has proven throughout his career to be a big-time playoff performer, didn't necessarily have the best first year in Golden State.
However, some of that can be attributed to the injuries the Warriors faced, including those to him. The Warriors were ultimately eliminated by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the second round of the Western Conference playoffs. Stephen Curry was out in that series, a significant reason for the loss.
However, part of that deal for Butler included trading Andrew Wiggins, which likely wasn't the easiest decision from the Warriors' perspective.
Wiggins has dealt with some personal things over the past few years, and Golden State fans weren't too happy about it.
At the end of the day, personal life takes over when it comes to basketball. There are many more important things in life than playing a game, and Wiggins made sure that was the case.
Fans can be upset about it, but it's the reality of the situation.

But now, as things continue to unfold, his future in Miami is somewhat questionable.
According to a recent report from Heat insider Greg Sylvander, Wiggins is now being linked to an Eastern Conference contender in the form of the Milwaukee Bucks.
“Milwaukee may be another suitor for Andrew Wiggins,” Sylvander wrote via Discord.
There have been reports over the past few years that the Bucks have been interested in Wiggins, but nothing has materialized on that front.
Perhaps this time, the Bucks could add the former Warriors champion.
Golden State saw what he brings when he's on a contending team, so Milwaukee would have to hope for the same.
