Red Sox 2025 August Approval Polling: How are they doing?

Come on in and make your voice heard!

Here at Over The Monster, we ran into a bit of a “dark zone” with or ability to create polling during the website migration earlier this month. However, we did want to still run our quarterly approval polling before the calendar flips to September. So with that, let’s check in with you, the Over The Monster community and gauge your opinion on how the Red Sox are doing across the organization.

Below are polls covering the job performance of the front office, ownership, and the manager, followed by some other topical items. Your job is to express your opinion on them.

As always, we try and run these four times per year (in August after the trade deadline [yes, we’re late this year with the website changeover], in early November after the World Series with the offseason kicking off, in February as we transition into a new spring training, and in late May as the season hits its stride).

So, without further ado—make your choices in our August check in, and let us know in the comments your overall feelings about the club.

(We don’t have any results from the May polling as they have not yet reemerged in the website migration, so there will only be two previous polls to compare the current results to following these questions.)

Normally the next question here would be about which top prospect are you most excited about / do you expect to make the biggest positive contribution to the team, but we’re going to tweak this one here because A) Roman Anthony ran away from the other guys in his graduation, and B) we’re literally running this as Payton Tolle makes his debut, so the results would be super skewed.

So instead of asking about Anthony, Mayer and Campbell like we did in February and May, we’re going to narrow it down to just the final two to get a more compelling question:

Previous poll results for this question when it was run:

In February: 39% Kristian Campbell, Roman Anthony 38%, Marcelo Mayer 23%

Previous poll results for this question when it was run:

In February: Yankees 53%, Red Sox 36%, Orioles 9%, Rays 1%, Blue Jays 1% (Whoops!)

In February: No 70%, Yes 30%
