Injury report: For the Mystics, Jacy Sheldon (ankle) and Georgia Amoore (knee) are out. For the Storm, Valkyries, Cecilia Zandalsini (calf), Monique Billings (ankle), and Kayla Thornton (knee) are out. Carla Leite and Tiffany Hayes are day-to-day.

Game notes

This may shock you, but after a five game losing streak, the Mystics are still not mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. They will face off against the 19-18 Valkyries, who currently hold the No. 8 seed. If Washington can pull of the win, their hopes are alive. If not, well, they will have some lottery balls coming their way for 2026.

I’m not expecting too much for the Mystics at this point in the season in terms of the standings with just five games left to go this season. However, I hope to see at least some fight from the Sonia Citron and Kiki Iriafen duo to the end.
