The Cleveland x SWAG RTZ Wedge blends Tour-proven performance with bold, limited-run designs tied to U.S. currency.
When a brand with decades of short-game credibility joins forces with one of golf’s boldest style makers, the result is bound to turn heads. That’s exactly what’s happening with the launch of the Cleveland Golf x SWAG RTZ Wedge, a rare collaboration that fuses Tour-proven performance with unapologetic personality.
These wedges mark a first for both companies. SWAG Golf, a Chicago-based brand known for loud graphics and limited-run drops, has never partnered with another golf company. Cleveland Golf, a brand synonymous with wedges from the days of Roger Cleveland to today’s RTX line, has never opened its platform to outside designers. The RTZ Wedge is their first shared canvas.
Each wedge is finished in sleek Black Satin, with metallic gold paint fill and a custom ferrule, but the real draw is the artwork. SWAG’s trademark “Mount Rushmore crew” characters appear across six different versions, each tied to a U.S. currency denomination: $1, $5, $10, $20, $50 and $100.
Underneath the bold visuals, golfers will find the bones of a proper Tour-level wedge: a premium True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 shaft, Golf Pride’s MCC Black grip, and lofts ranging from 50 to 60 degrees in a versatile mid-grind. In other words, this isn’t just an art project—it’s a Cleveland wedge that can be trusted around the greens.
Of course, not everyone will get one. Only 1,550 RTZ Wedges have been produced, each selling for $222.22, and they’re available through SWAG, Cleveland Golf and select retailers like Golf Galaxy, PGA Tour Superstore and Club Champion. Scarcity is part of the appeal, a nod to the drop culture that SWAG has cultivated and younger golfers have embraced.
As Sean Ferrell, SWAG’s vice president of marketing, put it: “Cleveland Golf delivers the Tour-proven wedge, and we add the personality. It’s a perfect blend of performance and style, built to play designed to turn heads.”
