2025-26 regular season schedule: 3 national TV matchups between Oklahoma City Thunder and Golden State Warriors.
While the NBA is on its vacation, the league recently dropped its entire 2025-26 regular season schedule. Every team learned how its upcoming six-month campaign will look. This has given folks plenty of time to fully dissect when and where they'll face their opponents.
The Oklahoma City Thunder continue to enjoy their NBA championship. They'll enter the 2025-26 regular season as a popular pick to repeat. They had one of the greatest seasons ever with a historic 68-14 record and a Larry O'Brien trophy.
Considering the season they just had, the Thunder made very few offseason moves. They'll run it back with mostly the same roster. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren were all signed to contract extensions this offseason to stay in OKC for the foreseeable future.
The NBA is fully bought into the Thunder. They're tied with the Los Angeles Lakers, Golden State Warriors and New York Knicks for most national television games at 34. Three of those games will feature the Thunder and Warriors facing off.
The Thunder will play the Warriors four times in the 2025-26 regular season. Three will be on national television. The first matchup will be locally aired as the Thunder host Golden State on Tuesday, Nov. 11. It won't take long for them to square off again.
The Thunder will travel to face the Warriors on Tuesday, Dec. 2. It will be on NBC and Peacock. A month later, OKC will return to San Francisco to face Golden State on Friday, Jan. 2. It will be on Amazon Prime.
Finally, the Thunder will host the Warriors on Saturday, Mar. 7. It will be on ABC. The NBA schedule-makers have banked on those two teams to bring in viewers, which is an easy bet to make. Gilgeous-Alexander and Stephen Curry are worldwide celebrities and household names.
While the Thunder are the title favorites, the Warriors could be a team that could threaten them. Curry, Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green were one of the hottest teams in the league after the trade deadline. Considering their championship pedigree, they should be able to stay competitive with OKC.
